Over the years, Park District officials have had numerous requests for this type of facility, and last spring they hired IBIS Enterprises to more carefully look at the concept and help the Park District move the process forward.
Read & ShareIn preparing the proposal for the MARC, the Park District reached out to the YMCA with an offer of a four-year revenue sharing agreement that would have provided member access to both facilities. The YMCA has chosen not to participate in that agreement.
