Ward County files civil suit against Project BEE over Broadway Circle Funding

Clarity and fallout emerges in the wake of Project Bee’s collapse nearly a year ago. Ward County is suing Project BEE for more than $1.3 million, claiming the shelter received duplicate funding for their nearly complete family shelter and affordable housing initiative. According to the county, Project BEE was reimbursed twice for the same expenses.
