Minot’s Leelee Bell named North Dakota Gatorade Basketball Player of the Year

Minot High School standout LeeLee Bell has been named the 2024-25 Gatorade North Dakota Girls Basketball Player of the Year, marking the second consecutive year she has received the prestigious honor. The 6-foot-3 junior forward led the Magicians to a dominant 21-1 record, averaging 27.4 points, 11.2 rebounds, 2.9 assists, and 1.9 steals per game while surpassing 2,000 career points in January.

Recognized for her excellence on and off the court, Bell has volunteered as a youth basketball coach and worked with the Special Olympics. Her versatility and skill set have made her a formidable force in North Dakota high school basketball, earning praise from coaches across the state.
