To Kill a Mockingbird is a staple of the American classroom. It was published in 1960, and it is as relevant today as it was when originally published. It’s in the news recently because the author, Harper Lee has recently announced that there is a sequel to the story that was written 60 years ago, Go Set a Watchman will be published for the first time this summer.
