Republicans Sweep State Offices

Considering our voting tendencies the results aren’t overly surprising, but there were a couple races that gave the impression they would a bit more competitive. They were not.

U.S. House of Representatives

  • ELECTED: (R) Kevin Cramer: ~55.5% (137,569)
  • (D) George Sinner: ~38.5% (95,355)
  • (L) Robert “Jack” Seaman: ~6% (14,476)

Secretary of State

  • ELECTED: (R) Al Jaeger: ~62%
  • (D) April Fairfield: ~32%
  • (L) Roland Riemers: ~6%

Attorney General

  • ELECTED: (R) Wayne Stenehjam: ~74%
  • (D) Kiara Kraus-Parr: ~26%

Agriculture Commissioner

  • ELECTED: (R) Doug Goehring:  ~57%
  • (D) Ryan Taylor: ~43%

Public Service Commissioner

  • ELECTED: (R) Brian Kalk: ~65%
  • (D) Todd Reisenhauer: ~35%

Public Service Commissioner (unexpired term)

  • ELECTED: (R) Julie Fedorchak ~66%
  • (D) Tyler Axness ~34%

Tax Commissioner

  • ELECTED: (R) Ryan Rauschenberger: ~57%
  • (D) Jason Astrup:  ~37%
  • (L) Anthony Mangnall: ~6%

Justice of the Supreme Court

  • ELECTED: Gerald W VandeWalle: ~99%
