Five Minot area non-profits are once again sponsoring the Rubber Duck River Race on the Fourth of July at Roosevelt Park. It takes five bucks to adopt a duck, and if yours in the top three across the finish line there will be a cash prize.
Sponsoring the event are Companions for Children, The Dakota Hope Clinic, Independence Inc., The Minot Public Schools Foundation, and the Minot Park District Foundation. Proceeds from the event will benefit each organization.
Duck adoption is available through the race’s website here, or you can adopt your duck pre-race at Roosevelt Park on Monday during the Fourth of July Festival in the Park.
