Morality Laws and State Hospital Funding Advance in Legislature

The North Dakota State Hospital is stepping towards a new investment. The first step is funding to demolish five buildings on the existing campus in Jamestown that have been vacant for decades. With a vote of  79-13, the House advanced bill 1333 that would prevent the children from attending drag shows. All eight Minot members of the House supported the bill.

The ND Senate Judiciary Committee advanced SB 2150 with a 5-1 ‘Do Pass’ recommendation. The bill clarifies state law for medical providers and bans all abortions after six weeks gestation. Only abortions due to rape or incest would be allowed prior to six weeks gestation. Jack Dura with the Bismarck Tribune has the full story.
