Minot Police: Man Arrested for Luring a Minor, Respond to Break in at B & D Market

The Minot Police Department has released information on two separate incidents that occurred in the last few days.

— Release on Man Arrested for Luring a Minor —

Minot Police Department received information of an adult that was planning on meeting a juvenile for sex. Officers met with the adult male at the set location and identified him as Nelson Fabian Miranda Vargas. After further investigation, Vargas was placed under arrest for Luring a Minor by Computer or other Electronic Means.

— Release on B & D Market break-in —

Minot police officers were dispatched to B&D Market for a break in at 2:22 AM this morning. It appears the male suspect threw a cinder block through the window of the business and made entry through the hole in the glass. The suspect grabbed an item from a merchandise display next to the broken window and left the area prior to officers arrival.
