Minot police had a busy evening making significant arrests in two separate incidents. Circumstances of each are provided below.
Infant in Social Service’s Custody after Drug Charges Against Parents
Officers were called to the Kelly Inn to conduct a welfare check on an infant whose parents appeared to be under the influence of drugs. As officers knocked on the hallway door, Scott Parizek exited through the sliding doors into the pool area and refused to stop for another officer when instructed to do so. After a struggle with officers, Scott Parizek was handcuffed and taken into custody. Contact was made with Brianna Parizek as she was asked to exit the room with her infant child. Officer were given consent to enter the room and drugs and paraphernalia were located. Scott Parizek and Brianna Parizek were arrested for Possession of Controlled Substance (Sched 2) C-Fel, Possession of a Controlled Substance (Sched 4) C-Fel, Possession of Paraphernalia other than Marijuana – C-Fel, Possession of Marijuana under <1/2 oz. – B-Mis. Scott Parizek was also charged with Preventing Arrest – C-Fel. Ward County Social Services were called and took custody of the infant child.
Man Wanted on Charges of Gross Sexual Imposition in Grand Forks Arrested, Leads to Other Arrests
On 5/16/15, Minot Police Department received information that Lonnie Falcon was at 3100 11th Ave SE #A16 and that he was wanted on warrants out of Grand Forks County for 3 counts of Gross Sexual Imposition (class AA Felony). After confirming the warrants were active, officers arrived at 3100 11th Ave SE #A16 in attempt to make contact with Lonnie Falcon.
When officers approached the residence, they detected a strong odor of marijuana and heard voices coming from inside the residence. After the attempt to make contact resulted in no response from the occupants of the residence, the officers obtained a search warrant for the residence. A warrant was granted for the search of the residence and it was served, resulting in contact with Lonnie Falcon, who was taken into custody on the outstanding warrants without incident.
Upon further investigation, officers also made contact with Matthew Falcon and Stephen Falcon. Matthew Falcon had an active warrant through Rolette County for Failure To Pay Fines and Stephen Falcon had an active No Bond Warrant through Ward County for Probation Violation.
All three suspects were taken into custody without incident and transported to the Ward County Jail. Lonnie Falcon was also charged with Possession of Marijuana – B Misdemeanor.
