There’s no questioning we as a culture and a species have a lot of problems to solve. But one of the reason’s our problems occasionally seem so overwhelming is because we haven’t yet imagined the right solution. One of those problems is the vast amount of plastic now floating in the ocean. The first step is to stop the supply, but when it comes to cleaning up what’s already there… this high school kid from Belgium has an idea that takes a lot of the energy out of the equation.
