Flood Protection: A Penny Could Pay For It

The City of Minot’s Sales Tax Ad Hoc Committee met yesterday for the second time. The committee is still in the information gathering process, and one of the presenters yesterday was SRJB Project Administrator Ryan Ackerman. He provided the committee with his analysis of paying our local share of flood protection, and it looks like a penny of sales tax dedicated to the mission can get the job done. Jill Schramm has the story.
