First District Health Reports McHenry County’s 1st COVID-19 Case

Correction: First District Health previously attributed the case below to Ward County. They have updated their reporting to reflect the patient’s residence county as McHenry County. This case represents McHenry County’s first confirmed positive case of COVID-19.

First District Health Unit has released news of a 4th positive test for COVID-19 in Ward County. The full news release is below.

A fourth case of COVID-19 has been identified in Ward County. The affected individual is a woman in her 80s. The case is currently under investigation. You will be contacted by the North Dakota Department of Health or First District Health Unit if you are considered a contact of this person. Everyone should continue to practice good hygiene and social distancing
