Fargo Downtown Gathering Space Includes Skating, Fountains, Stage

A developer seeking approval to build a Fargo high-rise released renderings of a planned public space at the foot of the building. In essence, it’s a downtown gathering space — a concept which Minot has in the works through the $74.3 million disaster resilience funding. We’re going through a process to look at each block downtown and narrow it down from there. There is a lot to look at, some historic districts, what impact Flood Control will have, and if property owners are willing to sell land. We’re close.
