On January 25, 2025, at approximately 11:40 p.m., the Minot Fire Department responded to a report of a car on fire inside a garage at 428 1st Street SE in southeast Minot.
Fire crews quickly extinguished the blaze upon arrival, preventing it from spreading further. Two occupants of the home were treated for smoke inhalation but did not require further medical attention.
The response involved personnel from all five fire stations, including three engine companies, two truck companies, and one command unit.
The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
