Bill requiring N.D. Legislature to Split Session over Two Years Fails

A bill intended to split the 80 days the North Dakota Legislature is allowed to meet into a 50 day session in odd-numbered years and a 30 day session in even-numbered years failed in the Senate by a vote of 19-28.
