Bakken Midstream seeks ‘fundamental change’ for North Dakota natural gas

Natural gas is a byproduct of North Dakota oil production, and that invites the question — what should we do with it. Currently, a lot of gas is being flared because the infrastructure to collect, store, and use the product is still being built. But what if we had uses for the product right here in North Dakota?

That’s the question one private company is asking, and they’re hoping to build an ecosystem that adds value to a product that’s in abundance in Western North Dakota.
