BISMARCK, N.D. – The State Historical Society of North Dakota invites educators to attend the 2025 Summer Teacher Institute workshop, “Frontier to Frontlines: North Dakota’s Military Legacy,” July 21-24 at the Ronald Reagan Minuteman Missile State Historic Site in Cooperstown.

This free workshop is a collaboration of the State Historical Society of North Dakota, Griggs County Historical Society, and Griggs County Central Schools. Educators will explore North Dakota’s contributions to the U.S. military and national defense from the 1870s to the 1990s, with a special focus on the Cold War and the role of the Ronald Reagan Minuteman Missile State Historic Site.
