But it’s not just disasters we have to worry about, many circumstances lead to a lack of care and maintenance that can drag a neighborhood down.
It’s a problem without an easy solution, but across the Atlantic, a couple of entrepreneurs are building a business by identifying homes that are slipping toward abandonment and turning them around. And it starts with relying on the public to alert them when a property is slipping.
