There’s no shortage of ‘buy local’ campaigns across the country, and for good reason. The idea is simple, If we spend more of our dollars with local businesses, those same dollars will recirculate in our communities and have a larger impact. The alternative is spending at a place like Walmart where the dollars are exported back to Arkansas and only circulate once in Minot. And the more a dollar circulates in a community, the larger the positive economic impact it has.
