In Duluth, they’re working toward the same goal, adding housing units. And their approach is similar to Toronto — deregulation. Specifically, Duluth has made tiny homes legal when they once were not.
It’s a perspective that matters in Minot. Tiny homes, or accessory dwelling units, as they are known in the planning business, are not legal here.
