Every once in a while, it’s important to stop and ask ‘How are we doing?’, and ‘Are we on the right track?’. As Minot’s newest local media company we’re going to be asking a lot of these types of questions over the next few months, and we’re starting here, with a survey on what you think of Minot’s City Council.
Before you take the survey, you might appreciate this quick presentation on the make-up of our City Council.
January 29, Update: To this date we’ve had almost 80 participants in this survey, but for it to mean anything we’re going to need a MUCH bigger sample size. If you’re invested in Minot, make sure you tell a friend to participate! Hint, there are all sorts of sharing options right below the title.
January 31, Update: What a difference two days makes, we’re now at nearly 800 participants; we’re hoping for 2,360 — the same number as those who voted in last summer’s election. And as a disclosure, this post was originally published January 16th, but we’ve updated the post date in the system to keep it at the top of the news feed.
February 3 Update: We pulled the survey down temporarily tonight to pull the data from the responses. The survey is now back online; feel free to participate below — the more responses the better. However, as far as our analysis goes, we’re going to draw our initial conclusions from the data we’ve already collected which included responses from 1100 Minot residents.
You can still take the survey below, if you want to go straight to the results and get some more info, do that here.
