Minot Fire Department Responds to AC Unit Fire at Unoccupied Home

On January 7, 2025, at 11:50 a.m., the Minot Fire Department responded to a report of smoke emanating from a window air conditioning unit at a residence located at 1017 7th Avenue NW.

Crews from Station 2 arrived on the scene within 3 minutes and 40 seconds and promptly entered the home. Firefighters quickly extinguished the fire, and the affected area was ventilated afterward.
