At 4:07 p.m. on Dec. 18, the Minot Fire Department was dispatched to a structure fire at 1002 43rd St. SE, Unit #6.

Truck 5 arrived on the scene just 3 minutes and 45 seconds after being dispatched and discovered heavy smoke coming from a utility room connected to the apartments.
