North Dakota is once again proving its mettle in the frontier of unmanned aircraft systems (UAS). The state, which has invested heavily in drone and UAS technology, is extending its innovative reach to Tennessee. Through a new partnership with the Tennessee Department of Transportation, North Dakota’s Northern Plains UAS Test Site will help develop a robust system akin to its acclaimed Vantis network. This collaborative effort is a significant stride toward creating a more interconnected UAS infrastructure across state lines. The aim? To elevate safety, innovation, and national security in drone technology.
