— Official News Release, City of Minot —

Due to two separate water line issues the City of Minot is asking residents to abide by a water restriction until further notice. The restriction is on excessive water usage (i.e sprinkler systems, watering lawns, etc.) On Wednesday, May 18th, the City of Minot was notified of two separate instances in which a water line collapsed. Maintenance crews are currently working to resolve both issues. The water ration will be in place until crews can effectively repair the water well lines. No timeline has been set as of now. A release will be available upon the expiration of the water ration order.
